Smile of Orphans Foundation is a community-based charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable orphans, widows, and disadvantaged families across Uganda — through education, shelter, food security, clean water, and sustainable empowerment.

Practical support that restores hope
We work closely with local communities to meet real, everyday needs — and to build a foundation for a better future.
Scholastic Materials & Education Support
We provide books, uniforms, and scholastic materials, and support school fees so vulnerable children can stay in the classroom and keep learning.
Shelter Construction & Renovation
We build and renovate homes for orphans, widows, and families living in unsafe or overcrowded conditions, restoring safety and dignity.
Food Relief
We distribute food to families facing hunger and food insecurity, easing the burden on households already stretched thin.
Clean Water Promotion
We promote access to clean and safe water in the communities we serve, reducing preventable illness and easing daily burdens.
Community Mobilization
We mobilize local communities to participate directly in identifying needs and shaping the support that reaches their own families.
Livelihood Empowerment
We support sustainable livelihood projects that help widows and families build income and reduce long-term dependence on aid.
