About Us

A community-based foundation, rooted in Uganda

Dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable orphans, widows, and disadvantaged families through practical, hands-on support.

Our Story

Who We Are

Smile of Orphans Foundation is a community-based charitable organization based in Uganda, dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable orphans, widows, and disadvantaged families.

We work closely with local communities to provide practical support, restore hope, and create opportunities for a better future. Rather than working in isolation, we mobilize the very communities we serve — listening first, then acting together on the needs that matter most.

Our activities are currently supported mainly through local contributions, which are limited. We are actively seeking partnerships with donors and well-wishers who share our belief that every child, widow, and family deserves dignity and a fair chance to thrive.

Vision

A community where every orphan, widow, and vulnerable family lives with dignity, hope, and equal opportunities to thrive.

Mission

To improve the quality of life of vulnerable children, widows, and families through access to education, shelter, food security, clean water, healthcare support, and sustainable community empowerment.

Accountability

Transparency is not optional — it's a promise

We provide regular updates, photos, videos, and progress reports. Donors are always welcome to visit our projects in Uganda and see the impact of their support firsthand.
